Thompson River - Ashcroft to Lytton

Much more than whitewater, this two day excursion floats through stunning desert-like badlands - sage brush, ponderosa pine, prickly pear cactus - and over 40 sets of rapids. The first day is highlighted by Black Canyon, a 150-million year old sedimentary canyon wall with a powerful rapid at its gorge and a golden eagle as sentinel on its cliffs. You are bussed from Spences Bridge to our Rafting Resort in Lytton for dinner, camping and breakfast in the morning. Day 2 brings the Thompson's legendary rapids with a whitewater climax that starts at The Frog, the first of 18 consecutive rapids.
