The Fraser slices through the heart of stunningly beautiful, wild and natural country. Only the rapids can compete with the scenery in this deluxe, FULL-SERVICE trip. The Fraser is one of the largest rivers rafted commercially in the world. Its volume can be more than 15 times greater than the famed Colorado River, and especially in June and early July the standing waves, boils and whirlpools are enormous. The awe-inspiring scenery on the Fraser River has also been compared numerous times to that of the Colorado’s Grand Canyon, and the history of the area and opportunities for exploring are boundless. There is plenty of drifting and ample time for idly absorbing the hot sun during the 5-6 luxurious hours a day spent onboard the raft. You’ll have an opportunity to photograph the California bighorn sheep, golden eagles, mule deer and dramatic hoodoos, canyons, and scenery. You hike, explore mining relics, and pan for gold. After 5 days on the Fraser River you will feel relaxed, tanned, well-fed, and totally rejuvenated. Kumsheen’s 5 day Fraser River Voyage is ALL-INCLUSIVE and by no means “roughing-it.”
